Farm Safety Week 2023

Farm Safety Week is a collaborative campaign, initiated by the Farm Safety Partnership in the UK, that brings together farming organisations from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Britain on the topic of farm safety. In Ireland Farm Safety Week is led by the IFA (Irish Farmers’ Association). Aim is to reduce the number of accidents on farms and bring about a change in culture that makes unsafe practices socially unacceptable.
The main objectives of the week are to:

1. Raise awareness
2. Share positive stories & technology to improve safety
3. Challenge farm safety attitude and encourage farmers to look after their physical and mental health
