At 9.00 am, after being closed for 9 weeks, the Garden Shop opened again. Suitable social distancing measures are in place, with numbers restricted, screens in place, floor markings and new queueing systems required. The shop has been busy all day, with a constant footfall through the shop and patience the order of the day - the new norm is that we have learned to queue.

All parts of the business opened on May 18th, and both Farm and Garden machinery service departments now have backlogs of equipment awaiting service. Patience will be the order of the day as our service staff work through the items which have been dropped in.
Our customers were most patient and loyal during our temporary closure. Rather than visiting our shops, they took to online ordering, telephone ordering with either local delivery or, by arrangement, calling to collect their purchases. The shop re-opening was like a blessed relief when customers could get into the shop and see their purchases first hand.

Long may it continue - thanks to all who support us and who supported us during the temporary closure.
